Bee believes in intersectionality as the starting point to spur social progress in an inclusive, accelerated, and meaningful manner. She’s tackled change within some of the biggest players from the oil & gas industry, Fortune 50 companies, and global utilities. Her world view is driven by an intersectional lens that centers people and facilitates co-creation for climate justice, gender equity, and sustainable business.
Background
Prior to founding The Power of We, Bee was Director of Marketing & Growth at ENGIE, and Manager of Market Strategy at OpTerra where she brought scalable comprehensive energy and sustainability solutions to communities around the world. She's worked at Chevron Energy Solutions developing renewable energy infrastructure and community programs for school districts and cities, and at Chevron Corporation in strategic planning. In addition, Bee has led various consulting engagements focused on corporate social responsibility for private sector and non-profit clients, including Hershey’s, Wells Fargo, and Hewlett Packard.
Bee’s thought leadership has been featured by Women in Cleantech & Sustainability, Verge Hawaii, Greenbiz, and UN Sustainable Development Goals. In addition, her innovative work has been recognized by the Institute of Local Government, SmartCities Connect, and the U.S. Department of Education.
